Fillable Entrance Permit
To be used when the creation of a new driveway or widening of an existing driveway is deemed necessary along a Wright County rural road. Also needed with a completed entrance permit signed by the landowner are a Certificate of Liability and a check in the amount of $50 for pre-reconstruction and post-construction inspection. It is also necessary to read and understand the Approved Entrance Policy.

To be used when a person finds it necessary to perform work in the road ditch or other designated county right-of-way areas. This is not necessary to build a new driveway if an entrance permit has already been authorized.

Iowa General Provisions for Oversize Load Permit
All trip permits must conform to the Iowa General Provisions.

Is required when a load of over 80,000 lbs, taller than 13'-6" high, wider than 8'-6" or a trailer longer than 53' will be transported along any road under Wright County's jurisdiction. Cost of permit is $35 for a single trip and $70 for a round trip.

Is required when a load is under 80,000 lbs, but still outside of the size limits of: 13'-6" high, 8'-6" wide or using a trailer longer than 53'. Cost of permit is $50 and is valid for twelve months from the month of its approval.

Is required when a load of over 80,000 lbs, taller than 13'-6" high, wider than 8'-6" or a trailer longer than 53' will be transported along any road under Wright County's jurisdiction. Cost of permit is $400 and is valid for twelve months from the month of its approval.
